Meet the Chef

Chef Jun Hung "Peter" Pan

Chef Peter, born in Fujin Sheng, China, began his culinary career at 18 after earning a Culinary Arts degree in Fuzhou. He apprenticed under a family friend and seasoned chef before moving to the U.S. in 1989, where he opened and worked in restaurants across New York, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia—specializing in Chinese, Thai, and sushi cuisine.

Since 2014, Chef Peter has been part of the culinary team at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races and has served as Chef de Cuisine at 9 Dragons since 2019, crafting authentic and memorable Asian dishes.
