Meet the Chef
Chef Jun Hung "Peter" Pan
Chef
Peter was born and raised in Fujin Sheng, China. His career in cuisine started
at 18 years old, after graduating with his Culinary Arts degree in the city of
Fuzhou, China. Immediately getting his foot in the door in a professional
kitchen, he then apprenticed with his father’s friend, who was an established
chef.
Chef Peter moved to the United States in 1989, working in and opening restaurants in New York, Ohio, Maryland and Virginia. These restaurants ranged from authentic Chinese cuisine to Thai, and even sushi.
He has been in the kitchens of Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races since 2014, and as Chef De Cuisine at 9 Dragons asian bistro since 2019, creating memorable culinary experiences using a variety of authentic flavors.
